Sometimes a hectic ghost to-do list starts sounding like an endless loop behind your thoughts. For some people, they are able to filter out the noise in order to focus. Danfo Mellow is beautifully representative of such an internal mental landscape. It runs parallel to the Brain Dump Lotus process: loving attention is paid to the nagging, looping thoughts, holding them in a more positive light.
Springing forth from the muck & mud, these ancient plants have been revered by many dominant cultures over the centuries. Due to the leaves hydrostatic properties and that the flowers always stay above water in pristine condition, flowering only during the day, they have been heralded as magical, divine, and transcendent.
Not a lotus. However, this walking iris also blooms only for one day.
Moral of the story
Your mind is holding so many thoughts, so much information, and lists upon lists at all times (not to mention an earworm or two). As much as it can be frustrating at times, especially if you are neurodivergent, why can't we give ourselves a little more credit? It's actually quite glorious. Let's not be so quick to demonize a busy mind. What if we celebrated it instead?
