PERHAPS LEARNING TO APPRECIATE THOSE SONGS FOR WHAT THEY ARE ISN'T SUCH A BAD IDEA...
Further Information About the Music
Tomaga | Intimate Immensity 2021, Intimate Immensity "Tom Relleen, one-half of Tomaga and a musician with projects such as The Oscillation and Autotelia, has died aged 42 of stomach cancer." Read full article in The Quietus here.
"'We rushed to master the album in his final days because the release was important to him,' Magaletti revealed to tQ after Relleen’s passing. This urgency is felt throughout. While released posthumously, the record is not burdened by thanatological considerations, but rather feels like an inspirited spark of creation. Within this context, its ten vignettes become microcosms capable of surviving beyond the heat death of the universe." Read full article in The Quietus here.
Let’s give your disability a place to live outside of your body, your self, and your identity. And in the process, it wouldn’t hurt to give it (and yourself) a little more compassion, too.

Instructions
Here's how to build your own shrine.
Find a surface that you will look at or walk by on a regular basis.
Gather a few items that add a few levels (like small boxes, baskets, jars, etc.), instead of just a flat surface.
Make an arrangement of your different levels with taller items in the back and a flat surface in the front.
Collect 10 - 15 items that are symbolic or representative of your disability, both in positive and negative ways. Possible items could include: medical artifacts from previous procedures, photos, items that instill a sense of hope, objects that embody the pain or conditions that frustrate you the most, symbolic hidden gifts, shadowy truths, etc.
One by one, arrange these items in the shrine, being especially careful to muster as much compassion as you can for the objects with more negative energy.
Be sure to include a candle, and light* it when you want to acknowledge your disability with compassion.
(*Use common sense. Never leave open flames unattended. Please don't accidentally torch your home. LED votive candles might be a good solution if you want light 24/7.)
