Instructions
Part I

• Write down everything that is bothering you. Make this list exhaustive.
• ​Take at least approx. 5 minutes and just write, write, write. Dump it all out on the page.

If you like, play the music below, which can serve as your 5ish-minute timer.

Examples of what you might write:

Every time so-and-so asks me to get them something. When I feel completely overwhelmed by my to do list. The noise the fridge makes. The number of unanswered emails in my inbox. The way my pants don’t fit quite right. Etc.

Part II

• Now take that list, and burn it (safely).
• As it burns, say or yell, ‘BE GONE.’
• If possible, bury the ashes.​

Part III

• Take a pillow & lift it over your head.
• Being careful to not strain your body, forcefully slam the pillow (aka your frustrations) on the ground.
• Repeat until you feel like you've had enough.
