She has a certain delimiting tendency. Perhaps a result of congenital microscopic vision, or from having witnessed a world reflected in so many puddles-whatever its genesis, her knack for seeing by frames, setting the scope, dividing the world into image and non-image, is both a compromise and a magic trick. A compromise because the universe won't fit; a magic trick in the sense that this deft selection is a whole lot more fun to look at.
